My name is Angela, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Boxing Instructor and Certified Sports Nutritionist. With these three comes one powerful mind, and body. One that I love to share with the world and most importantly to you!

I have been active all my life; playing softball, running, lifting weights, and various martial arts.  After the birth of my 2nd child, I weighed the heaviest I have ever been at 195lbs; standing at 5’3”. My “aha” moment was about 14 months afterwards when my husband and I were passing through airport security.  The TSA asked me if I needed to use the escalator, and when I asked why, the TSA said, “Because you’re pregnant right?”  It was at that moment when I decided to do something about my weight.Over the next year, I tried a variety of diets, supplements, and workout routines. I was only able to lose about 10-15lbs on my own. My friend and co-worker, Angela, happen to open TruFitness Studio and invited me to try it out. At this point, what do I have to lose…except the weight hopefully. I tried the cardio boxing class and fell in love with it instantly. I started the class in October 2017 at a weight of 180lbs, and others joked about how I wore my shorts over my spandex. Angela said that her goal is to get me comfortable enough where I wouldn’t do that any longer. I have been working my butt off ever since, literally and figuratively, and by participating in boxing class and changing my diet, I am now 140lbs and confident to wear the spandex alone without the shorts. I love my TruFitness family and they have been so supportive and encouraging of everyone who joins them. I love you all. Christine
